愛と困惑

A man and a woman make love. This isn't just for sex, it's the start of a genuine love affair. Sarah and Dan are made for each other. They have no doubts about that. This sort of thing comes along only once in a lifetime. In the early morning, Sarah gets discreetly out of bed. She dresses and decides to slip away before Dan opens his eyes. She is happy, so happy that she is afraid. Afraid of having been fooled... like many other women. That's why she decides to go after leaving her phone number of a trinket that they won together the previous day at a fair. She leaves... but with the hope, almost the conviction, that she will have a phone-call from Dan during the day. He wakes up in turn. He hears a sound in the living-room. He thinks it's Sarah and stages a comic entrance to make her laugh. But it isn't Sarah, it's the cleaning woman. The latter, panicked by Dan's sudden intrusion, drops the trinket that shatters to smithereens...
